Application Process for:
- New account application
- Additional account request
- Sumsub recheck
IMPORTANT: Make sure you use the latest version!
1) New process with clients that submitted forged documents
- For new applications, if the client provides a forged document. Action is to reject and ask for an alternative document and a selfie.
- If the client provides a 2nd forged document. We will terminate the onboarding process and add them to the blocklist.
- For existing clients – please refer to KYC team for manual review.
2) Changing personal details
- To address any confusion, client requesting changes to their personal details must correctly answer their secret question and pass a selfie verification.
- If they are unable to answer their security question, complete a selfie verification and ask them to setup a new secret question/answer.
3) KYB application documents required:
- Please refer to the table below.
- Sumsub KYB application has been updated to reflect the change.
4) KYC Master Guide + Line 2 Review Guide
- Both guides have been updated with above changes. Please familiarise yourself with the content. Refer to the changelog on page 1 for quick reference.
5) Selfie requests from Funding team
- Once the client completes the selfie photo, please verify if it’s a positive or negative match with their existing photo ID on file and pass on this information back to Funding since they do not have Sumsub access.
- All CS agents now have access to view selfie photos on Sumsub.
6) ECP queries
- For all ECP application and queries, please escalate to both Xavier and Graham to address.
