Within the MT4 platform, an offline chart lets you continue to refer to a chart (e.g. for research or analysis) without any updates taking place. You need to follow the steps below to enable this:
If you have a chart open, click ‘File’ from the main menu, select ‘Save As’ and save the file to where you’d like
Close the platform and re-open it. The chart should still be showing. Please do not close the chart.
To view in offline mode, click ‘File’, then ‘Open offline’ and select the saved the chart to view.
