The Fusion Markets platform currently operates using ‘New York Close’ charts, which is GMT+3.

Why is the time shown using GMT +3?

Fusion Markets uses GMT+2/+3 (depending on daylights savings) as it corresponds with 5 pm EST in New York, the typical conclusion of the trading day in the currency market. This is because the Forex market opens on Sunday at 5 pm EST and closes on Friday at 5 pm EST. Why is this important? Many traders believe it is better for technical analysis as there are only five equal daily candles in a trading week. For more information, contact us.
