ECP clients residing in the US – A decision has been made that we will only accept applicants that meets the $10 million asset test (as outlined in the form). The revised ECP form is attached and need to be completed by prospective clients and then referred to David Jiang /ops for further review.
What is ECP?
We are unable to service clients residing in the US unless they are classified as an eligible contract participant (ECP); is an entity or individual allowed to engage in certain financial transactions that are not open to the average investors. There are very stringent requirements before one can reach ECP status.
US APPLICANTS- WHEN TO SEND THE ECP FORM
Hi team, per DJ if a client from the US submits an application, please decline as normal under a blocked country.
We should only send the ECP form if they reach out to us via chat or email and is really willing to open an account with us
