MT4 Hedging – Buying and selling at the same time on the same product, e.g. short USDJPY long USDJPY at the same time.
Real hedging (not hedge funds!) is say having a lot of GBP exposure because you have a house in the UK, but then selling a derivative/CFD for GBP to “hedge” your GBP exposure.

Hedge funds is a different kettle of fish.
