Are you IIROC licensed?
No, we are not regulated by IIROC as this is a Canadian based regulator and we are regulated here in (enter Australia or Vanuatu based on what entity she is currently a client of). If you feel more comfortable trading with a firm that is locally regulated, we understand. This is not something we can offer you.
I'm from Canada, Would you happen to know how if/how it might affect my end that you arent IIROC licensed by any chance?
In order to know how this may affect you, we would need to know what is involved in being IIROC licensed which unfortunately we don't. We are privileged in that we can service clients from all over the world but it would be too much for us to know the rules in every jurisdiction where we have clients.
Just so you know – in the UK, they offer a 50,000 GBP guarantee of client funds by a government regulator. So, clients often ask if we do the same and we say that we have no applicable law here in Australia so cannot guarantee but ….
