Do you allow hedging on the platform?
We allow hedging on the platform and hopefully it is not confusing that I mentioned hedging client’s positions in the answer above. They are quite different. Hedging on the platform as a client is simply having a buy and a sell open on the same product at the same time, and we definitely permit this. You can try it on the demo yourself if you like too. Please be advised though that this doesn’t eliminate your risk on a trade, and you are still paying a small swap each day because you have the position open and are often paying and receiving swap at the same time.
What is hedging?
Direct hedging is when you are allowed to place a trade that buys a currency pair and then at the same time you can place a trade to sell the same pair. While the net profit is zero while you have both trades open, you can make more money without incurring additional risk if you time the market just right.
