This means the broker automates/executes all trades electronically. Brokers with a dealing desk will have a team of traders/dealers that can accept or reject orders if they please. Fusion does not operate a dealing desk.

  • Why do you call your account “Zero account”?

The account is called “The Zero account” because it mimics the experience of an ECN platform or the underlying market. It is designed to be a premium account except without the extra requirements of a minimum deposit or minimum trading volume. Other providers prefer other terms to market their account such as a “raw” or “pro” account because the spread typically has no extra mark-up (it is “raw”) and instead comes with a commission on each trade. We have adopted this style for our account, which has no spread mark-up. You can find out more information about the account types on our website.

  • What are ECN and a dealing desk? What's the difference?

ECN, or Electronic Communication Network, can be described as a bridge linking smaller market participants to tier-1 liquidity providers through a Forex ECN broker. Essentially it means that your trade is being passed through to liquidity providers.

A dealing desk, or a lack of a dealing desk, means the broker automates/executes all trades electronically. Brokers with a dealing desk will have a team of traders/dealers that can accept or reject orders if they please.

  • Fusion use DMA (Direct Market Access ) technology right?

We are a non-dealing-desk broker, meaning trade execution is fully automated, with fast execution time and no dealer intervention. Whereas DMA usually refers to directly connecting you to a financial exchange with an order book - which isn't generally the way the CFD market is traded, where CFD's are traded Over The Counter (OTC) between two counter-parties rather than on an exchange.

Do you offer DMA CFDs?

We offer normal CFDs, and currently we do not offer any DMA CFD products.
